In 1820 the Essex is a wooden boat.The Essex was hunting a sperm whale in the Pacific Ocean.I think the Essex hunting somewhere
were Samoa and Tonga.
The whale is 32 meters.The whale hit his head into the Essex.The who owned the Essex was a man named Captain Ahab.
There were 20 people that survived the whale hit.And I think the story is behind Moby Dick.No one has found the Essex so that is 106 years ago.
