The country that I want to visit is England.England is the most populated country in the United Kingdom. The other countries that make up the United Kingdom are Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.Then I would like to see the, Big Ben and London Eye. That is why I would like to visit England.

ReplyDeleteI'm Mark, a teacher working for the Summer Learning Journey! Finally someone chooses England! YES! I've been there, you know? I visited London where my sister lives (she married an Englishman).
You're in for a treat learning about England. It is a really amazing country with lots of little historical secrets. I have seen Big Ben (which is not just big, but really detailed) and on the London Eye - which is slow, but fun to ride on.
One of the things I love about London is the shopping. They have everything, and it is all kinds of prices from cheap to crazy expensive! They have humongous malls, kind of like Sylvia Park but way, way more shops. I was in a mall so big it had two Dunkin Donuts!
Probably the coolest thing I visited was the Tower of London, which is actually more like a little castle, but also functioned once as a prison. It was really old and kind of scary. Nowadays it is a tourist destination and it is where the Royal Jewels are kept on public display (so you can actually see real Queens old crowns!). It's pretty cool. I walked so much my feet hurt.
One thing I don't like is the London tube. It is hot and squashed. Try catch buses if you can.
Oh also, England is so multicultural, you can find any food from all over the world. So if you're like me and you love food, it is a great place to go to eat.
Since you're the only student I've found that is doing England, I am super excited to see what you can find out! It looks like you make quality blog posts too, so keep up the great work!

Hi Maroroa, I live in London and was so excited to read your blog about England and things to see here. Big Ben is amazing, its so tall and very pretty (right next to the river). Do you like football too? theres always lots of games, rugby too, but its not as popular as football. Can't wait to hear what else you like about England, Suzanne
