Term 3 Reflection

This term has gone really really fast, one m,ore term and I'm off to collage.I can till remember my first year in Pt England School.One of my best moments that I like about this term is what it feels like to be in collage.We did some cool thing and this is my last year at PES, but it's my favourite year .

Cross Country Show Not Tell

One by one we went off, my cheek was turning red and it feeled like I was about to faint.I had a funny feeling in my stomach.Then finally it was our turn we were walking to the starting line.There was the feeling again, but this time my oxygen felt like they were upside down.The boyz were jumping up & down, but I was trying to focus.Clap! went Mr burt's blocks, my legs left the starting line.

Once I reach the first cone, the boyz started to pick up the pace.And before you know it I was at the first gate.When I got halfway on my first lap, my legs were starting to burn.Once I got on my second lap, it was like my breath was beating me in the race.I was almost finished and once I cross the finish line I felt like going for a swim.

I scratched my head writing this, wounding about what I should writ.This was my writing for this week and we where learning show not tell and the theme I did was Cross Country.

It's Almost School holidays

It's Almost School holidays and Christmas.I don't know what I'am getting for Christmas but I know that the whole family know what I'am getting.So I try to find my present and do you know what happen next.I got snapped by my aunty's.

So this is how it began I was coming back of play outside a my cousin said  "I know what your getting for Christmas".Then I said "what" He did reply.So then my journey started from there and then I found a.

Do you know what I did on Thursday 19th of September ? WE WENT TO TAMAKI COLLAGE.

We learn how to play One Love on a guitar,it was fun when we played as a group.I learn how to play All Of Me as well. So give it a try and the most important thing is to have fun.

Explanation Wirting

Winter is a season that comes with lots of sickness.We need to look after ourselves and these are some of the ways of preventing yourself from getting sick.

One of the easiest ways of staying healthy is eating a balanced range of food. This means eating from the 5 food groups with a focus on fruits and vegetables. If you do that then your body will receive all the nutrients it needs to be in the best condition to fight off invading germs.

Another way to prevent yourself from getting sick is by not picking up rubbish off the street with your bare hands. This means being careful about what you touch,because if you touch something that is dirty you might get sick. If you are going to pick up something dirty you should use gloves. If you do this the gloves will protect your hands from the germs.

If you eat a good balance range of food and don’t pick dirty things off the street you will protect yourself from getting sick. Hope you got some tips and hope you stay healthy.
